Hey bro, thanks for the book! I glanced through it and it seems solid, but has also left me with a few questions: • What type of italic do you prefer (eg. Cursive) • Have you tried other resources for italic handwriting, such as Handwriting Repair (SE Briem) or italic handwriting worksheets from Write Now by Getty Dubay? Indycar Series Pc Torrent.

What made you follow this book specifically? • I currently write only in print, and don't know how to write in cursive. I use ballpoint pens and have legible handwriting. I plan to start using fountain pens and, after looking through various handwriting styles, find that I fancy italic cursive. Does this mean that if I were to follow this book, I wouldn't be able to skip straight to project 3 (cursive)? • I was about to purchase a fine lamy safari, as per recommendations of most people experienced with fountain pens. I recall however, that you said we would need an italic pen for the project(s).

Is this required, or can I learn it with just a fine fp? I understand it won't have an authentic italic look (thin upstrokes and thick downstrokes), but when I'm wondering if it could wait until I can afford a 2nd fp. Hi, sorry that I forgot to respond to this.

I'll answer in order. • Cursive; but for titles, addresses, and other fine work, I use print italic. Napola English Subs. You need to teach yourself the letterforms in this book to make Project III even worthwhile. Do not skip those preliminary projects!!!

• You will defeat the purpose of the book if you do not use an italic nib. They are cheap and this pen will last you a very long time. (I've had this one for a year and a half; have never bought another pen since.) So, it's worth the investment of 21-23 dollars. By using only a fine point pen, you will make the letterforms too big and they will be clumsy.

Project III has the sizes of the letters that way just because of the width of the nib. You're really telling your hand to run before it can walk if you just went straight to Project V or so.

That's the best I can tell you. If you think you can't afford the pen, then just start out using the marker to get your letter forms straightened out for Projects I-II.:-/ • • • •.
