With Silent Naga and Megidramon both in the human world, they meet one another Tokyo, Japan. With no one around to stop them, they begin to fight, the universe being.

As for the speed debate. Here's where I am going to bow out and take my leave. Speed calcs for these guys generally come down to scaling off other guys, which is going to be very hotly debatable. For Gallantmon/Dukemon, it's usually scaled against Grani, the Demon Lords and the other Royal Knights. For Drago, it's scaled off a whole bunch of Haos Bakugan and the big bads he's beaten.

Yugi/Atem himself obviously doesn't scale, but the monsters are going to. And you can make a lot arguments either way as to why the scaling should or should not be applied.

Click to expand.I was mostly talking about the speed of the human characters themselves (in base if they can transform). From the looks of things none of the combatants can actually tank a blow from their opponents without their powers being active or summoned allies being there to shield them (Is that not so?). So this mostly comes down to who will be able to mitigate the weakness of having a vulnerable human body the fastest and that is something affected by a variety of factors (speed, personality, how long each character's powers take to activate etc), it's a situation where even starting positions can play a vital role. If we get to the point where the characters have already barricaded themselves behind their summons/shields/mechs/transformations/whatever than it mostly becomes a contest of raw strength and hax (and yes, assuming they're at least somewhat comparable in other fields, speed). Despite no one having commented on him up to this point, this might actually mean Ash has the overall advantage, quite simply because Pikachu doesn't need to be summoned but starts off next to him (and Pikachu is both really fast and attacks with electricity). How does Guilmon (though Digivolution/merging takes time, Guilmon also starts off next to Takato) compare to Pikachu?

Click to expand. This is actually a good point. Pikachu could quite literally blitz all the contenders at lightning speed if he gets an attack off. Guilmon moves well, but not lightning fast. He can be faster if Takato gets to swipe a card (potentially 'hypersonic', as the card is called in the English version) but still not as fast as lightning. The main issue is that Ash has to shout the command and Pikachu has to register it, which could take several seconds on its own. Not sure how fast a matrix/biomerge evolution takes. Does anyone know if Yugi or Dan could be quicker on the draw than that?

Stop Patent Leather Shoes Cracking. Pretty sure Gingka at least needs a 3 second countdown before he is allowed to unleash planetary destruction with his spinning grinder of death. .This is actually a good point. He might not be able to fight as effectively without Ash commanding him but, assuming he has a basic understanding of the situation, he'll likely act on his own. I don't know about Dan (completely unfamiliar with Bakugan) but I can't recall any showing from Yugi that would allow him to be faster or even as fast. At best you could argue that he should scale to Kaiba ( deflects handgun bullets after they were fired by moving his metal briefcase in their path while escaping from the thugs Pegasus sent after him and jams a handgun with a card after the trigger is pulled but before the hammer moves into place completely in Duelist Kingdom) and to Yami Marik (uses his Millenium Rod to deflect energy blasts shot by the sentry bots of the submarine fortress from close range during the Virtual World arc) but it'd be extremely iffy since Yugi is never shown to be comparable to either of them physically. Besides, even if he was as fast, it still wouldn't be anywhere close to what's needed to keep up with Pikachu. Fifa Manager 10 Demo Patch here.
