AndySwain Mine says that after you hook it up you need to go into computer management>disk management and assign a drive letter. I have a similar device, USB2SATAIDE from startech.com and I see it under disk management, but it states 'Disk 1; Unknown; Not Initialized' When you try to Initialize it states 'Device not ready'.
