I've recently purchased an IBM Thinkpad R52. It came with WindowsXP SP3 pre-installed on it, which works great.

However, upon checking out a review of the thinkpad on another website I noticed that there are features that are supposed to be there that are not included on my install. I've gone through the list found at the following site. However, after installing all that I could, these features are still not available to me. Napola English Subs more. The features I am lacking specifically are the indicator or meter for volume, battery (on the system tray, not the icon displayed by XP itself by default, but the actual indicator associated with the battery-life via IBM software) & screen-brightness. I have installed all necessary software available on the site listed above. Including the Access IBM, Thinkvantage, Productivity Center, Update Center (non functional atm), Configuration Center, Keyboard Configuration Utility, Active Protection Manager, all Drivers for audio, display, etc hardware.
